Landing: Current Production

March 9-April 4, 2012

This 1979 play by Ernest Thompson has become an American classic. The plot focuses on aging couple Ethel and Norman Thayer, who spend each summer at their home on a lake. During the year the story takes place, they are visited by their daughter Chelsea and her new fiance’ and his young son. The play explores the often turbulent relationship between daughter and father, and the difficulties faced by a couple in the twilight years of a long marriage. This is a beautiful comedy/drama that deserves one more look. Come to the theatre and see the beauty that a play can bring to your life!
